Close Up.
A once in a lifetime experience.I met people who I didn’t know existed, and I bonded with people who I thought were strangers I just saw on a casual every day basis. Walking in the brisk cold from sunrise to moonshine, I realized how amazing people can be. I realized how enjoyable life can be if you allowed it to be that way, so what if it’s the nation’s capital? That wasn’t the best part for me—- The best part was being engaged to a couple of cool cats who were the sweetest things ever. It amazes me on how different people’s opinions clash and how brilliant minds as old as mine can be.
“I am the future… Use your words… they are powerful”
I’ve been impacted by people I didn’t know, and I’ve been awed by monuments I didn’t quite find the significance.
I miss Washington DC. It’s a good place.
As soon as I stepped out of the plane I realized I was back in the Aggressive, Gloomy, Unfriendly city of Los Angeles… It was a step back into reality.
